In order to honour Louis Renou and two major domains of his research, Vedic and P\u0101\u1e47inian Studies<\/a> as published in 17 volumes of Renou’s \u00c9tudes v\u00e9diques et p\u0101\u1e47in\u00e9ennes <\/em>(EVP) and elsewhere, a Journ\u00e9e d’\u00e9tudes v\u00e9diques et p\u0101\u1e47in\u00e9ennes<\/em> was organized on 12 June 2019 by Silvia D’Intino (CNRS – ANHIMA) and Jan E.M. Houben (EPHE – MII). The organizing institutions were Mondes Iranien et Indien (MII) FRE 2018-2019 and ANHIMA. Since the organizers plan to make it a regularly recurrent event, perhaps every two or three years, the day was called <\/p>\n\n\n\n
